Sentry extends title sponsor of Sentry Tournament of Champions through 2035
Wisconsin-based insurance company continues strong support of Maui community.
The PGA TOUR and Sentry Insurance, which has served as title sponsor of the Sentry Tournament of Champions since 2018, announced today a sponsorship extension through 2035. The new term further extends a 10-year partnership, announced in January of 2020.
For over a quarter century, the Plantation Course has played host to The Sentry, the PGA TOUR’s season-opening event of the FedExCup Regular Season. The Sentry boasts the most accomplished limited field in golf featuring TOUR winners from the 2023 calendar year and the top 50 members from the FedExCup standings who qualified for the 2023 BMW Championship – the second FedExCup Playoffs event.
Each year the elite field, which spans from new generation to veterans of the game, competes to join a list of champions featuring some of the most revered in the history of the sport, including Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, Davis Love III, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Jon Rahm. The course record is set at 61 and tied between Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, and Matt Jones during The Sentry 2022.
